HAZMAT Training

The Hazardous Materials First Responder Awareness class is designed for individuals that work around hazardous materials. We can provide training under the HAZ MAT FRA level under OSHA HAZWOPER Regulations. Hazwoper is the OSHA regulation that addresses worker protection at Hazardous Waste Site Operations and Emergency Responses.

This training is beneficial for individuals who are likely to witness or discover a hazardous substance release and who have been trained to initiate an emergency response sequence by notifying the proper authorities of the release.

Circle of Safety LLC recommends HAZ MAT FRO (Hazardous Materials First Responder Operations) training for larger companies to be trained to this level.

The California Emergency Management Agency Training Division and the California Specialized Training Institute (Cal EMA / CSTI ) is considered the nation’s premier institution in the area of Hazardous Materials response training and education. CSTI is authorized under Government Code §8574.20 (e) to provide a single coordinated standardized curriculum which CSTI has developed to train and certify Hazmat outreach instructors such as those from Circle of Safety LLC.
