C.E.R.T. Training

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.

CPR and First Aid Training

Circle of Safety LLC can tailor CPR courses to the needs of the business of the individual. We offer the following American Heart Association CPR Courses: Heartsaver CPR, Heartsaver CPR/AED, Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, and Family & Friends CPR.

Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) Training

Learning to use an AED can be highly intuitive and surprisingly simple. Current AED courses usually last about three to four hours to allow ample time for hands-on practice and to help increase user competence and confidence. Our AED training classes are certified by the American Heart Association, and the American Red Cross.

Prevention of Transmission of Bloodborne Pathogens

Needlesticks and other sharps-related injuries may expose workers to bloodborne pathogens. Workers in many occupations, including first aid team members, housekeeping personnel in some industries, nurses and other healthcare personnel may be at risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Circle of Safety LLC can create customized bloodborne pathogens training programs for any size business.

Respiratory Protection Training

Our respiratory protection training meets all the guidelines for CCR, TITLE 8, SECTION 5144 to help maintain compliance on your company's respiratory protection program.

Shelter In-Place for Hazardous Release and Inclement Weather

"Shelter-in-place" means selecting an interior room or rooms within your facility, or ones with no or few windows, and taking refuge there. In many cases, local authorities will issue advice to shelter-in-place via TV or radio. We create custom training programs to prepare businesses and individuals to shelter in place.

High-Rise Safety Consulting

When there is an emergency, getting workers out of high-rise buildings poses special challenges. Preparing in advance to safely evacuate the building is critical to the safety of employees who work there. Circle of Safety LLC creates highly customized safety programs for high rise building safety and evacuation plans.

Active Shooter Preparedness Training

In many cases, there is no pattern or method to the selection of victims by an active shooter, and these situations are by their very nature are unpredictable and evolve quickly. We offer courses, materials, and workshops to better prepare you to deal with an active shooter situation and to raise awareness of behaviors that represent pre-incident indicators and characteristics of active shooters.

Business Emergency Action Team Training

Circle of Safety LLC can create customized B.E.A.T. Team (Business Emergency Action Team) training programs to help manage disasters in the workplace.  Effective preparation is essential to conducting organized and thorough response operations in an emergency situation.

HAZ MAT FRA & HAZMAT FRO

The Hazardous Materials First Responder Awareness class is designed for individuals that work around hazardous materials. We can provide training under the HAZ MAT FRA level under OSHA HAZWOPER Regulations. Hazwoper is the OSHA regulation that addresses worker protection atHazardous Waste Site Operations and Emergency Responses.  Circle of Safety LLC recommends HAZ MAT FRO (Hazardous Materials First Responder Operations) training for larger companies to be trained to this level.

Terrorism Consequence Management

Our Terrorism Consequence Management training program comes from the curriculum developed by the Joint Apprenticeship Committee (JAC). This class is approximately 5 to 8 hours.

Fire Extinguisher Training

The use of a fire extinguisher in the hands of a trained adult can be a life and property saving tool. However, a majority of adults have not had fire extinguisher training and may not know how and when to use them.

Confined Space Training

At Circle of Safety LLC we provide extensive training for employers and employees that are subject to work in confined spaces. We can develop a tailored training program to meet your specific needs or implement one of our pre-designed confined space courses.
